Volunteer with LSPIRG!

LSPIRG believes building a strong community is the only way we can collectively advocate for social and environmental change. We have TONS of ways you can get involved! Whether you want to join one of our Research and Action Groups, start your own, or be part of our programming, events, campaigns or workshops, we know you will enjoy being part of the LSPIRG community. We offer both in-person and virtual programming.

We encourage you to follow us on social media to learn more about what we do and fill out the application below if you would like to be a general volunteer or be part of current Research and Action Groups. There is no deadline to apply as our work is ongoing.

Community Membership

If you are currently an Undergraduate or Graduate Student at Wilfrid Laurier University (who didn’t opt-out) you are already a member of LSPIRG! Congrats! If you do not fall within that category, you can still be involved in LSPIRG as a Community Member by applying to the Board for Community Membership. Community Members are an important component of LSPIRG - do not let the "LS" part of our name fool you! LSPIRG is dedicated to being a community-focused organization that wants to bridge connections between campus and Waterloo/Brantford Regions.

There is a $24 fee for annual Community Membership, with sliding scale options available upon request. Please note that if for any reason the Board opts to decline your request for Community Membership this fee will be refunded. Please reach out to info@lspirg.org - we’re happy to help!
